As of April 1, 2026, all commercial airlines at Austin-Bergstrom operate from the Barbara Jordan Terminal. The former South Terminal closed permanently on March 31, 2026 and is being removed as part of the Journey With AUS expansion program, so Allegiant and Frontier passengers now use the main terminal with every other airline.
Current on-airport parking is centered on the Barbara Jordan Terminal and includes the Red Garage, Blue Garage and multiple surface/economy lots within the main airport campus. The airport is in a major expansion/construction phase, so drivers should follow current AUS roadway and parking notices rather than older South Terminal directions.
Capital Metro Route 20 serves the airport. Rental-car facilities and the rideshare/taxi pickup area are behind/below the Red Garage, with airport tram services available to help passengers move between the terminal, rental-car facility and ground-transport areas.
